SyMath Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 September 2026

fexcy (operated by Kotaro Fujimoto) ("we") describes here how player information is handled in the mobile game SyMath (the "App").

1. Information we collect

The App creates an anonymous account identifier (uid) when it first launches. Online play, purchases and restore require signing in with a Google account or an Apple ID. Through Firebase Authentication we then receive:

  • the account identifier (uid);
  • the email address (including Apple private relay addresses);
  • the display name or full name registered with that provider.

We also collect the following game data:

  • player name (entered by you);
  • app settings such as display language;
  • match statistics (games played, wins, losses, draws);
  • match history (objective type, result, score, duration, the opponent's account identifier and player name, and the date of the match);
  • whether SyMath Pro is owned (a copy of the store / RevenueCat entitlement).

When you report another player we record the account identifiers of both players, the reported player's name, the reason, the time of the report and the match identifier. If the App crashes we may collect crash information (failure location, device model, OS version, app version and installation identifier). The App does not access location, camera, microphone, contacts or photos. It shows no advertising and does not track you for ads. We do not receive your full card number.

2. How we use the information

  • To provide and operate the App (matchmaking, running matches, recording results)
  • To restore your data and purchases when you change devices
  • To respond to abuse and cheating (reviewing reports, applying blocks)
  • To investigate defects and improve quality

3. Sharing and processors

We do not sell your information or share it for advertising. We use the following services to operate the App:

ServiceProviderPurpose
Firebase AuthenticationGoogle LLCSign-in and account management
Cloud FirestoreGoogle LLCStoring game data
Google Cloud RunGoogle LLCRunning the match server
Firebase CrashlyticsGoogle LLCCollecting crash reports
RevenueCatRevenueCat, Inc.In-app purchases and restore
Firebase Remote ConfigGoogle LLCMinimum app version

Processing by those services is governed by their own privacy policies. The match server runs in Tokyo (asia-northeast1).

4. Information visible to other players

In online play your player name is shown to your opponent and in the room list. Your player name is also recorded in your opponent's match history. Do not use your real name or contact details as your player name.

5. Retention

  • Game data: until the account is deleted
  • Reports: one year after receipt, or longer if required by law
  • Crash reports: the provider's default retention period

6. Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the App. Deleting removes your account and game data (profile, settings, statistics, match history and block list) irreversibly.

The following remain after deletion:

  • Reports, so that we can still act on abuse
  • Your account identifier and player name where they appear as the opponent in another player's match history
  • Server access logs

If you cannot use the App, you can request deletion at /symath/en/account-deletion or by emailing kotaro.fujimoto@fexcy.com.

7. Your rights

To request disclosure, correction, suspension of use or deletion, contact kotaro.fujimoto@fexcy.com. We will verify your identity and respond in accordance with applicable law.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent and believe we have such information, please contact us.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will publish the updated version on this page, and we will notify you in the App for significant changes.
